M33 is a spiral galaxy about 3 million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum. More faint and diffuse than M31, it can still unveil stunning detail under good conditions: clumpy spiral arms, pink HII regions, and a soft “cloudy” texture created by active star-forming areas. A subtle target—yet deeply rewarding to capture.
